The Children’s Specialty Care Coalition is pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Cattell, MPA, as Legislative Aid.

 

Andrew received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California in 2014. He is passionate about using his imagination, conviction, and experience to improve society. Most recently Andrew worked as a Campaign Executive for United Way California Capital Region. In this position he was responsible for raising money and spreading awareness for both the United Way and for the entire 501c3 community. Prior to this position Andrew worked for two years as a Research Assistant for the University of Southern California Price School of Public Policy.

While earning his Master’s degree Andrew also held an assistantship position at the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and a Lead Intern position at the Office of Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom. At DOR Andrew worked as part of a team tasked with modernizing internal and external organizational processes through improved use of technology and developing more employee-friendly procedures. At the Lieutenant Governor’s Office Andrew managed a six member intern team, working with the Lt. Governor and staff to coordinate research projects, schedules, clerical duties, and underwriting official office correspondence.
